Christian Duka serves us a chill soundtrack of visceral soothing moments for Soothers #05.

“My loved one always says (borrowing from Rick & Morty): “you can’t learn anything until you learn how to chill” - and she’s damn right. 

Chilling is something I am pretty bad at though. You know, living in London and being slightly enslaved by my passions… but still, there is one place I am able to chill: the space in-between spectral voices, dub-infused grooves and weird & wonderful textures of the likes featured in this cocktail of, personally, very emotional tracks. As I listen, the oomphs and throbs flying out of subwoofers transport me right where stress lives - inside my own body. There, whispering words of comfort to my stiff muscles, I finally take a moment to take care of myself. 

I hope this mix will serve as a soundtrack for many other visceral soothing moments like this - a warm bath, incense and candles are highly recommended :)”
