Half Edge's very own Mike Smaczylo brings in an ethereal mixed bag ambient mix for Soothers #02.

“This mix came up at a great time. After the chaos of recent weeks, and a generally intense few months, I've escaped to Paris to unwind, slow down, and feel a bit more present. My days have been filled with wanderings, drinking tea, and writing under the sun in Park de Belleville. This being said, the mix is more nocturnal in tone, evoking my most tranquil moments: clear nights talking to the moon by a pond near my home in Eccles, lysergic bath times melting into lengthy drone works. There's old and new stuff in there, moody and ethereal bits, zonked out 20+ minute jams. Nothing too jarring, a bit of a rarity for me.”
