Kincaid Mix
Taking over Tapes #101 is Kincaid, the moniker of Joe Arthur, an artist based between London and Berlin, who focuses his production and DJing style on the overlapping fringes of multiple genres. From groove laden percussion to sound design infused textural detail, Arthur’s sounds and sets are not to be missed.
He has released records with Well Street, Grid, Accidental Meetings, Redstone Press, Control Freaks and more to wide ranging acclaim. His unique approach to production and sound design has also sent him on a string of multidisciplinary collaborations. Most recently collaborating with Mercury Nominated composer and artist Hannah Peel, as well as Visual specialists Uncharted Limbo collective on the sound track for Alexander Whitley’s contemporary ballet ‘Anti Body’.
