He was inspired to begin producing while building a speaker for his graduate thesis, a materials engineer’s proposal for the radical redesign of club sound systems. His off-kilter take on techno, bass, and broken beat has landed on respected UK labels such as Scuffed Recordings and Goddezz, as well as through remixes for artists like LUXE.

Joining us for Tapes #172 is Yungfya, a DJ and producer who has carved a path through Berlin’s underground with seismic selections that hit hard and cut deep.
